ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of tumor suppressor gene PTEN and oncogenes Ki- ras in endometrioid endometrial adenocarcinoma(EEC). Methods The expression level of PTEN and p21ras were detected with the S- P immunohistochemistry method in 20 cases of normal endometrium, 20 cases of uterus atypical hyperplasia endometrium and 45 cases of EEC. The relationship between the gene expression and clinicopathological features was analyzed. Results The expression level of PTEN decreased progressively, and was 95.0 %, 40.0 %, 31.1 % respectively in normal, atypical hyperplasia endometrium and EEC.
