ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF LENTIL LECTIN / 第二军医大学学报

ABSTRACT

Lentil lectin (LcA) is isolated from Chinese Lens culinaris and identified by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, affino-immuno-electrophoresis autoradiography, erythrocyte agglutination test and sugar specificity test.Its half molecular weight is estimated by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and its contents of calcium, manganase, protein and sugar are detected.The product has been used for determination o f ?-fetoprotein variants so as to early diagnose hepatocellular carcinoma.
