ABSTRACT

Objective: Treatise on Thermy and Heat Pathogenic Diseases(Wenre Lun)is a book to lay a foundation on the art of warm disease of traditional Chinese medicine.It has affluent glossoscopy contents,nevertheless glossoscopy not only to provide a diagnosis method of tongue demonstration.This article expounds the contribution of glossoscopy in Treatise on Thermy and Heat Pathogenic Diseases(Wenre Lun)to the development of TCM,from the questions educed by glossoscopy in terms of treatment based on differentiation of syndromes by wei,qi,ying,and xue,the standpoint of safeguarding the places that having not been suffering evils and the therapeutic methods of(opening)-dispersing and bitter-dispersing et al.
