ABSTRACT

Benign tumour of larynx is a commonly encountered disease in laryngology,such as papilloma of larynx,leukoplakia of larynx,and granuloma of vocal fold.The main treatment in western medicine is operation,but the recurrence rate is high.Professor LI Shu-liang considers that the reason of forming something like benign tumour of larynx is qi stagnation,blood stasis and phlegmatic uid.He gets signi cant curative e ect by using Chinese herbal decoction,according to the rules of bene ting qi,activating blood,resolving stasis,clearing heat,dispelling phlegm and dissipating static blood.He uses treatment based on di erent syndromes,and treats diseases from both manifestation and root cause.The article is the summary of Professor LI Shu-liang's experience in treating benign tumour of larynx.
