ABSTRACT

"Phlegm retention" is one name,in fact has two different diseases of sputum and water retention.By investigating ancient documents,the connotation of phlegm was mixed with sputum in a definite period,so to clear up the content and development of phlegm and sputum is very meaningful to the disease.It makes its origin discussion from four pointsname,causa morbi,mechanism and treatment.
