Autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation with tandem transfusion of stem cells in treating hematological malignant disease-A report of 4 cases / 重庆医科大学学报

ABSTRACT

Objective:To observe the effect of autologous peripheral blood stem cells transplantation (APBSCT) on neutropenia and thrombocytopenia when tandem transfusion of stem cells is given.Methods:4 patients with hematological disease were mobilized with Cy+AraC+G-CSF before peripheral blood stem cells(PBSC) were collected.Peripheral blood stem cells transfusion were on 0 day and 3rd day after conditioning regimens.Results:The sufficient number of CD34+ cells could be collected.Neutropenia lasted 5-12days,while severe thrombocytopenia(BPC≤20?10 9/L)lasted only 3-4 days.Conclusion:APBSCT with tandem transfusion of stem cells result in shortening period of neutropenia and thrombocytopenia,less occurrence of neutropenic fever and severe bleeding,and reduction of cost.
