Fingerprint for the quality control of Adina pilulifera (Lam.)Franch. ex Drake / 中成药

ABSTRACT

AIM To study an analytical method of fingerprint for Adina pilulifera (Lam.)Franch. ex Drake in order to ensure the quality of this medicinal material. METHODS RP-HPLC was used to detect 6 batches of this medicinal material collected in main production areas. The experiment was carried out by using Agilent ZORBAX Extend C_ 18 column (4.6 mm?250 mm), methanolwater (23∶ 77) and 258 nm. RESULTS This RP-HPLC method was accurate, stable and reproducible, and the main peaks in the spectrum were all separated perfectly. CONCLUSION The developed method is simple, accurate and operable, and can be used to control the quality of Adina pilulifera (Lam.)Franch.ex Drake efficiently and feasibly.
