Meta-analysis of the association between systemic lupus erythematosus with HLA-DQA1 in the Han nationality of Chinese in the mailand of China / 中华风湿病学杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the association between sysetemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with HLA-DQA1 in the mainland of China. Method The reported articles about SLE in mainland of China and HLA-DQA1 were searched and the meta-analysis via Rev man4.1 was performed. Result Seven studies enrolled 447 SLE patients and 503 controls, HLA-DOA1*0301 might be of protective value, P=0.000 07, OR=0.64 (0.52, 0.80). Conclusion Meta-analysis is an importmant method to determine the controversial results of the gene association studies performed in the mainland of China with small sample size.
