ABSTRACT
Objective To explore the changes of proteins level of TLR2 in colonic mucosa of ulcerative colitis( UC) model rats and to observe the effects of Kuijieling Decoction( KD) on TLR2. Methods UC model rats were induced by TNBS. The rats were randomly divided into six groups as follows normal control (NC) group, model control (MC) group, lowdose Kuijieling (KLD) group, mediumdose Kuijieling( KMD) group, high- dose Kuijieling (KHD) group and SASP group. After 10- days treatment the rats were killed to get their colonic mucosa and extract the whole- cell proteins. Western blot technique was used to detect the TLR2 protein level. ? - actin was used as the internal index. Relative expression level of target protein was calculated from the gray scale ratio of TLR2 and ? - actin. Results Relative protein expression level of TLR2 in MC group was significantly higher than that in NC group (P
