ABSTRACT
Objective:
To evaluate the diagnostic value of CT in thyroid benign and malignant tumors.Methods:
Thirty one patients with thyroid tumor received CT scan.Results:
On the axial images,calcification,hemorrhage,wall nodule,metastatic lymphadenopathy and tumor reinforcement levels after enhancement were observed in thyroid tumors.Among the 31 cases,thyroid carcinoma was diagnosed by CT in 18 cases and thyroid benign tumor in 13 cases,compared with pathologic diagnosis,the coincidence rate was 94.7% and 92.3% respectively.Conclusion:
CT scan is very important in the differential diagnosis between benign and malignant thyroid tumors,especially in the correct diagnosis of thyroid carcinoma.
