ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the effect of Duoxikang on vascular endothelial dilation function in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods Thirty-six patients with coronary heart disease and thirty normal subjects were studied, the flow-mediated dilatation and glyceryl trinitrate(GTN)-induced vasodilation of brachial artery were measured by high resolution ultrasound technique. After twelve weeks treatment with Duoxikang, subjects in group of coronary heart disease were remeasured. Results The flow-mediated dilatation and GTN-induced vasodilation of brachial artery in patients with coronary heart disease were significantly reduced as compared with those in control group. These indices in patients with coronary heart disease after treatment with Duoxikang were significantly better than those before the treatment. Conclusion Duoxikang may improve the vascular endothelial dilation function in patients with coronary heart disease.
