Innovative service model of bibliotherapy based on participation of medical staff and patients / 中华医学图书情报杂志

ABSTRACT
The analysis of studies on bibliotherapy showed that the cognition of bibliotherapy was poor in medical staff and patients, the number of studies on the theory of bibliotherapy was greater than that on the application of bibliotherapy in clinical practice, the service methods and platforms were insufficient, the education levels of patients were various, the majority of librarians involved in bibliotherapy were poor in medical knowledge .The methods for implementing a new bibliotherapy model were therefore put forward based on the common participation of librarians, ward assistants , psychological physicians and patients , and the effects of bibliotherapy for readers were assessed using the self-designed reading efficiency scale, SAS, SDS, and t test, respectively, according to the psychological prin-ciples of bibliotherapy .
