LV Hai-jiang's Clinical Experience in Ophthalmopathy from Heart / 中国中医药信息杂志

ABSTRACT

Professor LV Hai-jiang has been working on teaching and clinical practicing of TCM ophthalmology for more than 40 years. Based on the experiences of previous doctors, he gradually found out the application ofheart-vessels-eye system for ophthalmopathy, and formed his unique experience in treating ophthalmological disorders from heart. This article reviewed the concerning documents in the classics, and explained Professor LV theory in treating ophthalmopathy from heart. In addition, by combining with case reports, Professor LV's unique diagnosis thoughts and clinical experience were summarized from the four aspects promoting blood circulation and removing stasis, elevating yang and dredging collaterals, clearing heat and cooling blood, and eliminating dampness and phlegm.
