Changes of blood adiponectin and heme oxygenase 1 levels after PCI / 心血管康复医学杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective:

To observe changes of adiponectin (ADPN)and heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1)levels in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD)after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI),and correlation among ADPN ,HO-1 and oxidized low density lipoprotein (ox-LDL).

Methods:

A total of 60 CHD inpatients,who received PCI in our department, were regarded as CHD group,another 56 healthy subjects undergoing physical examination were regarded as healthy control group.Levels of ADPN,HO-1 and ox-LDL were measured and compared between two groups before PCI,and between before and eight weeks after PCI in CHD group.Correlation among ADPN,HO-1 and ox-LDL levels were analyzed in CHD patients.

Results:

Compared with healthy control group,there were significant reductions in levels of ADPN [(18.41 ±5.74)mg/L vs.(5.62±2.16)mg/L]and HO-1 [(38.71±6.95)μg/L vs.(23.87±5.28μg/L)],and significant rise in ox-LDL level [(12.56±5.94)μg/L vs.(31.25±3.95)μg/L]in CHD group before PCI,P =0.001 all.Compared with before PCI,there were significant rise in levels of ADPN [(8.49±1.95)mg/L]and HO-1 [(35.29±2.28)μg/L], and significant reduction in ox-LDL level [(16.74±2.71)μg/L]in CHD group on eight weeks after PCI,P =0.001 all. ADPN and HO-1 levels were significantly negatively correlated with ox-LDL level in CHD patients both before and after treatment (r =-0.648~-0.325,P <0.05 all).

Conclusion:

PCI can improve coronary blood supply,then increase levels of protectors—adiponectin and heme oxygenase 1 in CHD patients.
