Study on Processing Technology of Alum by Central Composite Design and Response Surface Method / 中国药师

ABSTRACT

Objective:

To optimize the processing technology of alum by using oven processing combined with central composite design and response surface method to provide basis for processing standardization production of alum.

Methods:

Alum as the raw ma-terial and on the basis of single factor experiment, the processing temperature, processing time and alum amount were used as the three independent variables factors. A titration method was applied in the content determination of aluminium potassium sulfate in withered alum, and a central composite design and response surface method was used to optimize the processing technology of alum.

Results:

The optimal processing technology of alum was as followsthe processing temperature was 250℃ with 40-minute processing time and 8 g alum.

Conclusion:

The optimized alum processing technology by central composite design and response surface method is simple, stable and predictable, which can provide basis for the processing standardization production of alum.
