ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the effect of common laboratory blood parameters and blood culture on the diagnosis and prognosis of sepsis .Methods The clinical data of 40 patients with sepsis who were treated in our hospital from March 2015 to Oc-tober 2016 were retrospectively analyzed .Another 40 cases with non sepsis were selected as control group .Laboratory indexes ,and differences of blood culture in patients of two groups were observed .According to the blood culture ,patients with sepsis were divid-ed into positive group and negative group ,the differences of laboratory indexes of positive group and negative group were observed . Results The levels of white blood cell (WBC) ,C reactive protein (CRP) ,Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) ,Aspartate aminotrans-ferase (AST) ,blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and serum creatinine (Scr) in patients with sepsis were higher than those in patients without sepsis ;the positive rate of blood culture in sepsis group was significantly higher than that in control group (χ2 =45 .490 , P<0 .001);the positive rates of WBC ,CRP ,ALT ,AST ,BUN and Scr in the positive group were higher than those in the negative group;the levels of IL-6 ,hs-CRP and TNF-in the positive group were higher than those in the culture negative group (P<0 .05);the levels of WBC ,CRP ,ALT ,AST ,BUN and Scr in the death group were higher than those in the non death group .The levels of IL-6 ,hs-CRP and TNF-in patients with sepsis were higher than those in the non death group (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The positive rate of blood culture ,white blood cell ,CRP ,ALT ,AST ,BUN and Scr levels were higher in sepsis patients ,and were closely related to the prognosis of patients .
