Effect of steam thermal spray combined with massage therapy on postpartum severe breast distending pain / 现代临床护理

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the effect of steam thermal spray combined massage therapy on the women with postpartum severe breast distending pain. Methods About 170 cases with postpartum severe breast distending pain were divided into experimental group and control group. 85 women in the experimental group were treated with steam thermal spray therapy and breast massage treatment and the other 85 women in the control group with towel heat compress and breast massage treatment. The effect of management of two groups were compared. Result The effect of treatment in the experimental group was better than that of the control group significantly (P<0.01). Conclusion The effects of steam thermal spray combined with breast massage treatment on postpartum severe breast distending pain is significantly better than the towel heat with breast massage treatment.
