ABSTRACT

Objective:

To investigate the effect of meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate combined with Shenmai injection on the balance of Th1/Th2 cells in the patients with bronchial asthma.

Methods:

Totally 75 cases of patients with bronchial asthma were ran-domly divided into the treatment group (38 cases) and the control group (37 cases). The control group was treated with the conven-tional therapy, while the treatment group was treated with meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate combined with Shenmai injection by in-travenous infusion additionally for 14 days. The level of Th1/Th2 cells was detected by flow cytometry, and the serum level of IL-10, IL-4 and IFN-γ was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA) before and after the treatment, and the clinical thera-peutic effect was assessed.

Results:

①Compared with that before the treatment, the expression level of Th1, Th1/Th2 and IFN-γwas increased in both groups, while the expression level of IL-4 and IL-10 was decreased after the treatment, and the changes in the treat-ment group were more notable than those in the control group (P0. 05). ②The clinical efficiency of the treatment group was 94. 74%, while that of the control group was 83. 78%. The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group (P<0. 05).

Conclusion:

Meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate combined with Shenmai injection shows definitely clinical curative effect on bronchial asthma, and the mechanism may be related with regulating the imbalance expression level of Th1/Th2 and inflammatory cytokines.
