THE ABNORMAL RELATIONSHIP OF EXPRESSION OF MTS_1/p16 GENE WITH THE BIOLOGICAL BEHAVIOR IN MALIGNANT TUMOR OF BILE DUCT / 肿瘤研究与临床

ABSTRACT

Objective To examine the expression of p16 protein in malignant tumor of bile duct and itsrelationship with tumor behavior. Methods pl6 protein was studied by immunohistochemical method.Results The positive expression rate of MTS,/p16 in malignant tumor was lower than that in benign ones,and had close correlationship with the invasiveness and lymph nodes metastasis (P0.01 ). Conclusion The investigation of MTS1/p16 is of .great importance in evaluating the invasiveness of tumor, meta-potential of lymph node and clinicalprognosis.
