ABSTRACT

AIM: To observed clinical effect and safety of perindopril alone and combined with gliclazide in the treatment of type Ⅱ diabetic with hypertension and diabetic nephropaphy (DN). METHODS: 61 patients (male 34, female 27) were randomly divided into 2 groups. Perindopril group (n=31) perindopril 4 mg qd, and gliclazide 80 mg bid. Nifedipine group (n=30) nifedipine 10 mg qd, and gliclazide 80 mg bid. The treatments lasted for three months. RESULTS: After the treatments, the levels of blood pressure, FPG, and GHb were distinctly reduced in the two groups (P0.05). In perindopril group, the urine minim albumin (UMA) was markedly reduced (P
