Diagnostic value of reticulocyte related parameters in thalassemia and iron deficiency anemia / 国际检验医学杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of reticulocyte related parameters in thalassemia and iron deficiency anemia(IDA) .Methods Ret％ ,Ret# ,IRF ,LFR ,MFR ,MFR and Ret-He were detected in 56 cases of IDA (IDA group) ,48 cases of thalassemia (thalassemia group) and 45 healthy individuals undergoing the physical examinations(control group) by adopting the XN-1000 automated blood cells analyzer .Then the results were compared among 3 groups .Results Ret％ ,Ret # ,IRF ,MFR and HFR in the IDA group and thalassemia group were higher than those in the control group ,the differences were statistically significant (P<0 .05);Ret-He and LFR in the IDA group and thalassemia group were lower than those in the control group ,the differences were statistically significant (P< 0 .05) .The Ret-He level had statistically significant difference between the IDA group and thalassemia group (P<0 .05) .LFR％ in the thalassemia group was sig-nificantly decreased compared with the IDA group (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The reticulocyte parameters have the important significance in clinical differentiation diagnosis of thalassemia and IDA .
