ABSTRACT

Chronic gastritis is a chronic diseaseoccurred in the gastric mucosa.Western medicine is mainly symptomatic treatment.The clinical results are quick,but there are many recurrences and adverse reactions.Based on the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as well as syndrome differentiation and treatment,Professor Wang Jian believes that the disease should be examined in details.The etiology and pathogenesis of the disease should be clearly defined.The treatment should be given on both the root and the branch in TCM with remarkable clinical efficacy.
