ABSTRACT
Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is the most common type of distant metastasis in all types of lung cancer ex-cept for SCLC,including brain, bone, liver and adrenal gland.Of the patients with distant metastases in NSCLC,not all cases are multi-ple and extensive, with nearly 7% of patients presenting with isolated extrapulmonary metastases. This particular form of advanced tumor metastasis is called NSCLC oligometastatic.Treatment of oligometastatic is mainly local treatment, which includes stereotactic radiotherapy(STR),surgical resection and radiofrequency ablation. The aim of this article is to discuss the effect of SRT on the micro-metastasis of common distant metastatic organs in NSCLC.
