ABSTRACT

Various sleep disorders are the most common group of non-motor symptoms in Parkinson's disease (PD),which can also occur during the prodromal phase of PD.All types of sleep disturbances may be encountered in PDinsomnia,excessive daytime sleepiness,rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorders,restless legs syndrome and sleep-disordered breathing.Standardized management of PD patients with sleep disturbance will be beneficial to improve the overall quality of diagnosis,treatment and prognosis.More high-quality clinical trials need to be carried out in the future.
