ABSTRACT

Plants euphorbia is the largest genus of euphorbiaceae. Because of its good anti-tumor, anti-leukemia, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-virus, anti-tuberculosis and other pharmacological activities, this genus of medicinal plants has attracted interests from many scholars at home and abroad. However, the greater toxicity has also plagued researchers' progress. This article summarized and analyzed the toxicological studies of medicinal plants in this genus in recent years and literatures on traditional Chinese medicine processing and attenuating studies, providing references for future pharmaceutical development research.
