Portal hypertension is the major cause of complications in decompensated liver cirrhosis. Research results showed that non-selective β-blockers, angiotensin receptor antagonists, and statins can improve portal hypertension by reducing portal vein blood flow and intrahepatic resistance, and have certain prevention and treatment effect on hemodynamic disorders and portal hypertensive complications in chronic liver diseases.
