ABSTRACT
Because of the different chorionic characteristics, monochorionic twins have more special complications than dichorionic twins, and the perinatal outcome is poor.In order to reduce the complications of twin pregnancy,in addition to strengthening the standard prenatal examination and health guidance, chorionicity should be defined in the first trimester. The nuchal translucency(NT)and systematic ultrasound screening of two fetuses are particularly important in the first-midtrimester.In order to find the fetal malformation in the twin pregnancy especially the special complications of monochorionic twins, the individual ultrosound screening, umbilical artery flow and fetal heart rate monitering are conducive to reducing birth defects and improving perinatal outcome.
