ABSTRACT
Granular cell tumor (GCT) is a rare, benign neoplasm of Schwann cell origin. GCT is composedof cells with eosinophilic granular cytoplasm. GCT presents as a solitary painlessnodule. Because of their subtle clinical presentation, GCTs are often misdiagnosed. This reportof a 47-year-old woman with an auricular GCT serves to highlight that complete excisionand histopathological evaluation should be attempted even in apparently benign cases, toensure complete cure.
