ABSTRACT
Objective:
To investigate the expression of CDX-2, PTEN, E-cadherin and NM23 in gastric cancer and its clinical significance. Methods:
Immunohistochemical S-P method was used to detect expression of CDX-2, PTEN, E-cadherin and NM23 in 77 gastric cancer specimens and 30 normal stomach mucosal tissues, and then the relationship of the expression with clinical pathology parameters was analyzed. Results:
The positive rates of CDX-2, PTEN, E-cadherin and NM23 were significantly higher in gastric cancer tissues than those in the normal gastric tissues (P0.05). The l-,3- and 5-year survival rates of CDX-2, PTEN, E-cadherin and NM23 positive patients were higher than those of negative patients(P<0.05, P<0.01).Conclusion:
The expression of CDX-2, PTEN, E-cadherin, NM23 in gastric cancer is related to the differentiation, infiltration, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage of gastric cancer, and detecting their expression in gastric cancer may help to judge the prognosis of gastric cancer.
