ABSTRACT

Objective:

To understand the significance of serum TK1 level change during chemotherapy of patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Methods:

The serum TK1 levels were detected in 37 patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma by enhanced chemiluminecence assay before chemotherapy and one day, four weeks after chemotherapy.

Results:

The changes of serum TK1 levels were significantly different at different stages of treatment (P<0.01).

Conclusion:

Our findings indicate that serum TK1 change might be of great value in evaluating the treatment outcomes and predicting recurrence of patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
