ABSTRACT
Gut microbiota can interact with the brain through neuronal, endocrine, immune and metabolic pathways. This interaction is called the microbiota-gut-brain axis. This article reviews the correlation between gut microbial diversity and some neurological diseases in order to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of these diseases.
