ABSTRACT
Septic shock is the leading cause of neonatal death. The incidence is closely related to gestational age and birth weight.Due to the immature development of the cardiovascular system, poor compensatory ability and the limitation in monitoring capabilities, the clinical signs of septic shock were less characterized in premature neonates and lacking the uniformity of diagnostic criteria. The hemodynamic response and ideal intervention time were less understood.Research of risk factors will help early diagnosis and treatment of preterm infants with septic shock.Cardiovascular and pulmonary support, individual antimicrobial therapy as well as immune treatment were the most important for successful rescue and improving the outcomes.
