ABSTRACT
Objective:
To summarize nursing experience of transcatheter aortic valve-in-valve replacement performed on a patient with bioprosthetic valve failure.Methods:
To review nursing keypoints of a case of transcatheter aortic valve-in-valve replacement, including preoperative preparation, intraoperative care, monitor, valve preparation, and prejudgments of complications.Results:
The result of the surgical procedure was satisfactory by means of multidisciplinary teamwork. The patient was discharged 7 days after surgery without occurrence of perioperative complications.Conclusions:
A satisfactory result of transcatheter aortic valve-in-valve replacement procedure could be yielded by adequate preoperative preparation, mature notion for hybrid technique, strict monitor, and prevention for complications.
