ABSTRACT

Objective:

To explore the efficacy of oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-released tablets combined with nerve block in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia.

Methods:

From January 2014 to December 2018, 120 patients with postherpetic neuralgia in the People's Hospital of Qing County were divided into observation group and control group according to the random digital table method, with 60 cases in each group. Both two groups were treated with antiviral therapy. On this basis, the control group was treated with oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-released tablets, while the observation group was treated with oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-released tablets combined with nerve block therapy for 28 days. The VAS scores before and after treatment and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.

Results:

After treatment, the VAS score of the observation group was (2.22±0.93)points, which was significantly lower than (5.61±1.01)points of the control group, the difference was statistically significant( t=2.915, P<0.05). The total effective rate in the observation group was 98.3%(59/60), which was significantly higher than 63.3%(38/60) in the control group (χ 2=23.720, P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups( P>0.05).

Conclusion:

Oxycodone acid sustained-released tablets combined with nerve block in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia has obvious effect, which has less adverse reactions, and better clinical application value.
