ABSTRACT
Exosome is a kind of extracellular vesicles secreted by most cells, and is a nanometre natural carrier that can transport biomolecules to promote intercellular communication with the huge potential of diagnosis and treatment. microRNA (miRNA) is a small non-coding RNA gene, which is abnormally expressed in many types of cancer and plays an important role in the pathogenesis of cancer. miRNA can also reflect molecular changes in donor cells. Therefore, extracellular miRNA can be potentially used for diagnosis and therapeutics. This review focuses on the potential clinical significance of exosome miRNA in biological fluids for the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer.
