ABSTRACT

Digestive tract tumor is a malignant tumor with high incidence rate and mortality. Early detection is very crucial to improve the patient prognosis. Circulating ribonucleic acid (RNA), including mRNA, microRNA, lncRNA and circRNA, plays an important role in tumorigenesis and development. Thus, it provides a new detection method for liquid biopsy. This article will focus on the application of circulating RNA in the diagnosis of digestive tract tumors, aiming to promote the clinical transformation of circulating RNA.
