ABSTRACT

Abstract@#The health of adolescents is a barometer of social development, adolescents undergo a critical period for the development of competencies related to health and well being, which is also an important stage for laying the foundation for health. This editorial proposes key considerations for the successful system optimization in adolescent health services and relevant policies in China, and presents an indicator and monitoring framework for adolescent health promotion toward Healthy China 2030, through summarizing the health and developmental challenges faced by Chinese adolescents, and embracing innovations in national policy development.
