@#Objective To explore the effect of family rehabilitation on children with cerebral palsy.Methods60 children with cerebral palsy received the family rehabilitation. The program was divided into two stages the first 3 months in outpatient (mainly performed by physical therapists) and the second 3 months in family (mainly performed the parents). The physical therapists tutored the parents to learn and practice the rehabilitation training. The acupuncture and massage may be used to ease the patients, i.e., relaxing hypermyotonia. The gross motor function development is assessed in the end of the first month, third month, and sixth month. ResultsThe effect rate is higher in the end of the third month than in the first month ( P<0.05), as well as the end of the sixth month than the third month ( P<0.05).ConclusionFamily rehabilitation is effective and practicable.
