ABSTRACT

Topicality. Class polysaccharides take up a important position among biological active substances. Representatives of this class are compounds which have broad spectrum pharmacological properties. They are under in sphere attention of researchers. Tussilago farfarae L. (Asteracea) concerm to such plant. These is plants are grown in Europe and Asia. It is also a common plant in North America and South America where it has been introducted, most likely by settlers as a medical item. The plant is often found in waste and disturbed places and along roadsides and paths. In some areas it is considered an invasive species [1].The purpose of this work is to pharmacognostical analysis Folia Farfarae. According to a goal of this research the following tasks are defined1. To carry out the macroscopic and microscopic analysis of materials.2. To indentify major merchandising performances.3. To define the amount of active ingredients on whichthe raw materials are standardized.As samples for the analysis served Folia Farfarae officinalis by “Ivan-Chai” were served as samples for the analysis.For the solution of tasks the following methods of analysis were used macroscopic,macroscopycal, phytochemical, histochemical, gravimetric analysis.Results. According to pharmacopeia article “Folia Farfarae” (State Pharmacopeia Ed. XI,T.2,p.280), for the specified raw materials are established the following numeral indicators Ashes in general (no more than 20%); ashes, nsoluble in 10% HCL (no more than 10%); humidity (no more than 13%) [2].Conclusion: “Folia Farfarae” correspond to the general pharmacopeia article “Folia Farfarae”.References1.
