ABSTRACT
The study aimed to investigate validity evidences based on the effect of age on the performance of attention and executive functions instruments, as well as possible correlations between their scores. Participated 151 children, 7-10 years old (M=8,58; DP=1,12), without complaints of learning difficulties, individually evaluated by Cancellation Tests, Trail Making Test, Stroop Color-Word Test, Tower of London and Verbal Fluency Test. The results showed effects of age on the performance of instruments, especially in scores of time. Furthermore, significant correlations (between and within tests) among scores were found. The results made it possible to obtainvalidity evidences through the relationship of instruments with external variable (age) and the relation between their scores.
