RESUMEN

La presente Ley tiene por objeto garantizar el derecho de todas las niñas y niños a la lactancia materna a través de la adopción de medidas que aseguren entornos y condiciones adecuadas para fomentar, proteger, y apoyar la lactancia materna priorizando los primeros mil días de vida, fomentando la nutrición segura y suficiente para los lactantes. Es obligación del Estado garantizar y generar las condiciones para el ejercicio de este derecho. La familia, la comunidad, los patronos y las organizaciones privadas también tienen la obligación de garantizar el derecho a la lactancia materna

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this Act is to guarantee the right of all children to breastfeeding through the adoption of measures to ensure adequate environments and conditions for the promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding, giving priority to the first thousand days of life, promoting safe and sufficient nutrition for infants. It is the duty of the State to guarantee and create the conditions for the exercise of this right. The family, community, employers and private organizations also have the obligation to guarantee the right to breastfeeding
