A treinta años de la fundación de Educación Médica Superior / Thirty years after the foundation of the Journal on Higher Medical Education

RESUMEN

En marzo del 2015 supimos por José Enrique Alfonso Manzanet, Jefe del Departamento de Revistas Médicas y coordinador general de la red SciELO Cuba, del Centro Nacional de Información en Ciencias Médicas, que " según el ranking internacional de Google Académico, la revista médica cubana mejor ubicada en estos momentos es Educación Médica Superior, colocada en el puesto 28; además es la primera revista científica médica cubana en superar el número de citaciones recibidas sobre la cantidad de artículos publicados para el año 2014, según los indicadores aportados por la red SciELO Cuba, también exhibe con orgullo un factor de impacto de 1,1748". En aquel momento felicité al Comité Editorial y escribí que estos resultados de la revista "son producto de los profesores y estudiantes de ciencias médicas, de los logros de la educación médica cubana y de la visión estratégica de su máximo impulsor y guía el Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro Ruz. Por muy bien que se escriban los trabajos científicos, no se puede inventar una educación médica buena donde esta no exista. Son los profesores y el personal de la salud que la Revolución ha formado, los que han posibilitado que hoy Cuba sea reconocida en el mundo como una potencia en educación médica..

ABSTRACT

In March, 2015 we knew for José Enrique Alfonso Manzanet, Chief of the Department of Medical Magazines and general coordinator of the network SciELO Cuba, of the National Center of Information in Medical sciences, that "according to the international ranking of Academic Google, the Cuban medical magazine best located in these moments is a Top Medical Education placed in the position 28; also it is the Cuban medical scientific magazine first in overcoming the number of subpoenas received on the quantity of articles published for the year 2014, according to the indicators contributed by the network SciELO Cuba, also it exhibits proudly a factor of impact of 1,1748". In that moment I congratulated to the Publishing Committee and wrote that these results of the magazine "are a product of the teachers and students of medical sciences, of the achievements of the Cuban medical education and of the strategic vision of its driving maximum and the Commander guides in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. For very well that write to themselves the scientific works, it is not possible to invent a good medical education where this it does not exist. They are the teachers and the personnel of the health that the Revolution has formed, which have made possible that today Cuba is recognized in the world like a potency in medical education...
