RESUMO

O artigo propõe refletir sobre a atualidade do texto freudiano de 1915 ­ "Da guerra e da morte temas da atualidade" -, a partir de alguns conceitos metapsicológicos que deram corpo à análise crítica do autor à civilização que produziu a Primeira Guerra Munidal. Partindo da hipótese de que o texto constitui um leit motiv à construção do conceito de pulsão de morte, sustentamos que a teoria psicanalítica, por ser passível de reelaborações constantes e plurais, não cessa de convocar o analista à refletir sobre a confguração sócio-política em que vive.

ABSTRACT

This article proposes to reflect on the relevance of the Freudian text 1915 - "Thoughts for the times on war and Death" from some metapsychological concepts that gave substance to the criticism of the author analysis the civilization that produced the First World War. Assuming the hypothesis that text is a leit motiv to the construction of the concept of death drive, we hold that psychoanalytic theory, be subject to constant and plural reworking, does not stop to call the analyst to reflect on the social and politic configuration that lives.
