Considerações sobre a clínica psicológica com bebês que experimentaram internação neonatal / Considerations on clinical psychology with infants who experienced neonatal hospitalization

RESUMO

No estudo da psicopatologia do bebê e da criança pequena, os sintomas psicofuncionais são entendidos como indicadores de problemas, passageiros ou persistentes, no nível das trocas interacionais entre pais e bebê. Nesse sentido, qualquer evento que represente uma ameaça a essas trocas entre o bebê e seus pais, como a hospitalização do bebê no período neonatal, merece atenção e investigação. Assim, partindo do pressuposto de que as relações iniciais entre o bebê e seus cuidadores são estruturantes, constituintes do psiquismo humano e potencialmente responsáveis pela saúde mental atual e futura do bebê, este artigo pretende, a partir de uma breve revisão da literatura, abordar as especificidades da clínica psicológica com o bebê, o sintoma do bebê e os problemas do diagnóstico na primeira infância, refletindo sobre as possíveis implicações psicológicas e manifestações sintomáticas no bebê que experimentou uma internação neonatal.

ABSTRACT

In the study of infant and young child's psychopathology, the psychofunctional symptoms are understood as indicators of temporary or permanent problems at the level of the interactional exchanges among parents and infant. In this sense, any event representing a threat to these exchanges between the infant and its parents, such as the hospitalization of the infant in the neonatal period, deserves attention and investigation. Therefore, assuming that the initial relations between the infant and its caretakers are structuring, constituting the human psyche and potentially responsible for the current and future mental health of the infant, this article intends, starting from a brief review on the literature, to approach the specificities of clinical psychology with the infant, the symptom of the infant, and the problems of the diagnosis in first infancy, reflecting on the possible psychological implications and symptomatic manifestations in the infant who experienced neonatal hospitalization.
