RESUMEN

Haciendo hincapié en el objetivo psicoanalítico de introducir al sujeto en el orden del deseo como única vía de acceso a la singularidad, este artículo aborda la "salida del closet", la asunción de una identidad distinta de la heterosexual, en relación con el discurso del amo y el "yo soy" de Descartes como cierre del inconsciente. Mientras que los movimientos sociales que luchan por la igualdad de derechos de las personas homosexuales promueven la aceptación de estas identidades, la noción de sujeto en psicoanálisis y la función de la interpretación se juegan entre la dimensión inconsciente del deseo y la asunción de las normativas dictadas desde el Otro.

ABSTRACT

Emphasizing the psychoanalytical aim of introducing the subject in the order of desire as the only way to the singularity, this article considers the "coming out of the closet", the assumption of an identity different from the hetero-sexual one, in relation with the discourse of the master and the "I am" of Descartes as a closure of the unconscious. While the social organizations that claim equal rights for homosexuals promote the acceptance of those identities, the notion of subject in psychoanalysis and the function of the interpretation take place between the unconscious dimension of desire and the assumption of the norms dictated by the Other.
