Angiosarcoma of the breast: a case report

ABSTRACT
Primary breast angiosarcoma is a rare tumor; the annual incidence of mammary angiosarcoma is 5.8 per 10 million women. This study presents a case of primary breast angiosarcoma associated with neurofibromatosis treated with mastectomy and axillary clearance. We also describe pathologic relation with the clinical findings. We identified this case and reviewed the surgical pathology database of approximately 1500 breast biopsies performed from January 2006 through March 2009 at Prince Rashid Hospital.
