Management of giant papilliary conjunctivitis associated with soft contact lens wear

ABSTRACT
The management of giant papillary conjunctivitis has been discussed for both mild and severe form of the disease. The purpose of this work is to manage the disease while the patients continued contact lens wear, and presented our cases of giant papillary conjunctivitis who were successfully managed while wearing their lenses. This was done by changing to nonpreserved saline and thermal sterilization. In severe cases, topical steroids, new lens of different material and different designs have been used in some cases
