[One case of sternal hydatic cyst]

ABSTRACT

The hydatic cyst is a parasitic disease quite common in endemic countries. It is frequently situated in the liver and the lungs. Its location in the bone is rare. We report a case of a 45-year-old woman consulting for anterior cervical swelling. The diagnosis of sternal hydatic cyst was suspected through imaging and confirmed at the pathological study of the specimen.
