ABSTRACT
Antrochoanal polyp is a benign solitary polypoid lesion, which usually arises in a maxillary sinus, radiologically opacifying and enlarging the sinus cavity without bone destruction. Antrochoanal polyp is almost always unilateral and occurs most commonly in children and young adults. Allergy, chronic sinusitis, and cystic flbrosis have all been implicated in the etiology of childhood nasal polyposis. Bilateral antrochoanal polyps in children are extremely rare. Only few cases have been reported in the literature. Our case is a 6-year-old female child who presented with bilateral nasal obstruction. Clinical examination and computed tomography showed bilateral antrochoanal polyps. Under general anesthesia, polyps were removed by simple avulsion. Histopathology showed benign allergic polyps
