Lateral end clavicle fracture a new method of fixation

ABSTRACT
Fifteen patients with fracture lateral end clavicle were treated at Al-Azhar University Hospital between April 2002 to April 2004, by open reduction andl.F. using a T. shaped plate for distal radius, 13 patient were male, 2 patient were female. The patients' ages ranged from 15 - 58 [average 34] years old. Allfractures healed without infection or implant failure. One of them, surgery revised after loosening of the screws on the acromialside. All were healthy and the mechanism of injury included a motor-vehicle accident [six patients], a bicycling accident [four] and fall from a height [five] patients. We recommend this new technique of fixation of fracture lateral end of the clavicle as it provide strong, stable fixation with an encouraging
